Glasgow Rocks strengthened their chances of securing the third place play-off position with a comfortable win over struggling Plymouth Raiders. After an even opening period the Raiders went into the final quarter trailing by only seven points. But the visitors' chances of causing an upset quickly faded as 13 points from Gareth Murray and 10 from American Mike Copeland secured victory for the Rocks. Raiders coach Gary Stronach said his team could still make the play-offs. Stronach said: "Eighth spot is still right there. It's not impossible. "Right now it's tough, because every team in the league is fighting for position. But I feel we're still in the race. I told the guys that after the game. "We played really well, but competing for 30 minutes is not enough, we need to compete for 40."
