Exeter Chiefs 32-6 London Welsh

Exeter Chiefs

Exeter Chiefs left it late before running in three late tries to earn a bonus point Championship play-off win over London Welsh.

A try by Neil Clark, coupled with eight points from the boot of Gareth Steenson, had edged Exeter 13-6 ahead going into the final 10 minutes.

But then came a Tom Johnson try, followed by a further touchdown from James Scaysbrook.

And replacement hooker Simon Alcott forced his way over for the bonus try.

That helped to atone for last Sunday's 20-9 defeat at Nottingham.

The Chiefs must now travel to Doncaster in their next Pool B game next Saturday (1500 BST).
