Worcester Wolves coach Paul James focuses on positives
James took over as Worcester head coach in December
Worcester Wolves head coach Paul James has told his side to take the positives from their recent defeats when they travel to Worthing Thunder on Saturday.
After a three-game winning run, Wolves lost 97-90 to Milton Keynes Lions and 82-77 to Newcastle Eagles last week.
James told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "Losing to the third and second placed teams in the league is not the end of the world.
"I felt we played well. Our performance was good and we were competitive."
Wolves are six points off a BBL play-off place with two games in hand over their weekend opponents, who currently occupy the final play-off spot.
"If we can go on a bit of a run by the end of March we will be in a play off place without question," said James.
"March is the month I've been targeting as if we can get our act together we've got a lot of winnable games."
Worthing edged out Wolves 83-82 in overtime when the two sides last met at Worcester in January.
But Dave Titmuss' team come into Saturday's game off the back of a 90-82 loss to Everton Tigers.
