Worcester Wolves' run of five consecutive British Basketball League wins came to an end with defeat at the hands of MK Lions. The Wolves went into an early 11-4 lead, but the Lions hit back to end the first quarter 27-14 up and were never again behind. Nine points from Dan Gilbert pulled the score back to 27-25 in the Lions' favour, but the hosts were still able to lead 50-42 at half time. That lead was stretched to 70-56 at the end of the third quarter and, despite scoring 34 points to the Lions' 20 in the final period, the Wolves were not able to recover.
