McKnight's team have won seven league games this season
Guildford Heat head coach Chad McKnight believes victory at MK Lions would trigger a turnaround in their poor away form this season.
Heat travel to Milton Keynes on Friday looking for only their second away victory of the season.
McKnight told BBC Surrey: "Once we get that one win, then it's all about building on that.
"Once we see that we can win on the road then it will build our confidence going into the next away game."
Guildford, currently eighth in the BBL Championship, lost at Milton Keynes in the BBL Cup in October but beat them at home in the league last month.
McKnight said: "We've shown we can beat them once.
"It's just about going down there and showing we can do the same on their home floor."
Plymouth Raiders visit the Spectrum on Sunday and McKnight is confident Heat can continue the form which has seen them beaten just once at home this season.
"It's another game that we can win. We played them a few weeks ago and they kind of took us down to the wire even though they are a lower team in the table," he said.
"These are games you must have, the must-win games, and we're playing at home too so we definitely don't want to drop a home game."
