McKnight's 24 point contribution was not enough |
Guildford Heat suffer their fifth defeat on the road in five with a 97-83 loss at Sheffield Sharks, who go top of the BBL. Mike Cook top scored for the Heat with 32, head coach Chad McKnight made 24. "It was a tough game, we let ourselves down and were very disappointed," McKnight said. "We have a home game against Plymouth Raiders and we now need to focus on that and remind ourselves that we have not been beaten at home this season." Mcknight added: "Plymouth Raiders has an excellent coach and the team always plays well. They have a few new players so it should be an exciting game. "We need to focus more on our defence, which has let us down recently in away games, and try to get a lot of fast breaks and turnovers. "We hope people we come and watch us at The Spectrum as their support will give us a real boost."
