McKnight's team have only won once away from home this season

Guildford Heat head coach Chad McKnight wants a response from his side when they face Sheffield Sharks after a disappointing weekend in the BBL.

Heat lost 72-84 at Everton Tigers and their match at Scottish Rocks was postponed because their hosts suffered an outbreak of swine flu.

McKnight told BBC Surrey: "We need to get back on track and need to win a road game.

"They're a tough team so we're going to have to go in there and play hard."

McKnight added: "If we can beat them on their home court then when they come down to play us they'll have to chase the game with the head-to-head."

"It's always tough to play on the road but we need to go ahead and grab this one.

"Since we lost to Everton [we need to] run up and jump back on the league and say, we did lose the game to Everton, but we're still here, and we're not going anywhere," McKnight said.
