Guernsey's men's basketball team tasted defeat in both of their weekend Division Four South West fixtures. On Saturday the Sarnians suffered an agonising one-point defeat, going down 48-47 at the hands of the University of Chichester Thunder. The following day they went down 67-48 to Taunton Tigers II to lie sixth in the league table, with two wins from eight matches. The island women's match against UWIC Archers II was postponed.
