Worcester will get better - Disy

Worcester Wolves

Returning Worcester Wolves forward Harry Disy insists they can improve on a poor start to the season which has seen them lose their first three games.

Disy is back with Wolves after the club he joined in his native France went out of business.

He said: "I have only been here for two weeks but I think we have got a good chance. We are going to be alright, we have just got to keep working hard.

"I'm still trying to fit in as I have just got here."

Disy played more than 1,000 minutes for Worcester during last year's British Basketball League Campaign.

"I took five months off and went home on vacation and then I signed with this team in France," he said.

"But that didn't work out as they went bankrupt so I called the new coach, and asked him if I was still welcome."

New Wolves coach Chuck Evans was only too pleased to offer Disy a place in his squad.

"I had a great experience last year when I spent a nice eight months here," said Disy.

"Plus I am doing a masters and am going back to university, so it is all good."

Worcester Wolves return to action against Glasgow Rocks on Saturday at the University of Worcester sports hall at 1900 BST.
