Davies started his career at Chester Jets before moving to Plymouth Raiders

Worcester Wolves have boosted their squad by signing 6 feet 1 inch point guard Anthony Martin.

The 28-year-old played for Chester Jets in the 2005-06 season, before joining Plymouth Raiders in 2007, where he averaged four assists per game.

Wolves head coach Chuck Evans says Martin is very much a team player.

"Many people want to measure a player's success according to stats, with Anthony, the only important stat is his team's winning percentage."

He added: "If Anthony can mimic any of the success gained in Plymouth and Chester, we will have a successful season in Worcester."
