Worcester Wolves have signed British Virgin Islands international forward Randy George. The 28-year-old 6ft 7in former GB university player began his BBL career with Sheffield Sharks, and last season played for Scottish Rocks. Coach Chuck Evans said: "Randy is a player expected to have a break-out season, he has shown signs of his potential in the past, in spurts. "The question with Randy is 'why don't his stats reflect his potential?'" "At Worcester, we will provide the opportunity for Randy to prove he is the very good player many people, myself included, believe he can be." George is Wolves' second recent signing, after they captured Lithuanian point guard Evaldas Zabas earlier in the week.
