Worcester Wolves have made their second signing of the summer with the arrival of guard-forward Kenny Saunders. Wolves head coach Chuck Evans was pleased to announce his second American capture in recent days. "Kenny is an athletic wing player who can score from the outside and inside but he can also cause problems for the opposing team defensively," he said. "Chey Christie and Kenny compliment each others style of play and bring different elements to our team." Saunders graduated in 2007 from Fort Valley State University in Georgia where he had established himself as a very athletic player with a good three-point shot. Since graduation he has played in the Swiss first division for Meyrin Grand-Saconnex where he scored 12 points per game with a 62% hit rate, while he also pulled down an average of four rebounds per game. He toured China with Baseline Sports and has recently been playing for Cartersville Warriors in the WBA. | We are very impressed indeed with the detailed and strategic approach that Chuck has applied to the recruitment process Wolves owner Roger Clarke |
