Reigning champions Newcastle Eagles will face Cheshire Jets when the new BBL Championship season gets under way on Friday, 25 September.

The opening weekend also sees Leicester Riders take on Sheffield Sharks while Milton Keynes Lions host Worcester.

BBL Cup holders Everton Tigers open their campaign on the second weekend of the season against Plymouth Raiders.

Essex Pirates, the BBL's newest club, play host to London Capital in their opening fixture of the season.

The first-round matches in the BBL Cup will be played on the weekend of 18/19 October.
