Davis has played basketball in the UK since 2001

Sterling Davis has signed a new two-year contract as player-coach of the Scottish Rocks.

Davis first joined the Rocks as a player in 2006 and took on the role of player-coach the following year after Thorsten Leibenath left the club.

The Texas-born 31-year-old has previously played for Sheffield Sharks, London Towers and Brighton Bears.

Rocks finished sixth in this season's BBL Championship, which followed a fifth-place showing in 2008.
