Forward Anthony Paez has left Worcester Wolves, as new coach Chuck Brown continues to build his side.

The Wolves could not meet the wage demands of the American, who was the second highest scorer in the British Basketball League last season.

"In these economic times we were not able to pay Anthony what he was making last season," Brown told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"I felt like it was time for him to move on to higher leagues in Europe."

Brown added: "He is talented enough, he just needs to make the commitment to go into a higher league and showcase his talent."
