Worcester Wolves have boosted their squad for the new season by signing Lithuanian point guard Evaldas Zabas. The 21-year-old spent last season with German club Eisbaeren Bremerhaven and was part of the Lithuanian under-20 squad at the European Championships. Wolves head coach Chuck Evans told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "Evaldas is a young player with potential. "His determination and talent will be a welcome addition to the Wolves. He just wants to play and help the team win." Zabas spent his early childhood in Lithuania before moving to Canada with his family in 2003.
