Former Worcester Wolves player-coach Skouson Harker says he is happy to return to the playing ranks for the club's forthcoming BBL campaign. Harker has been replaced as Wolves coach by Chuck Evans and has spent the summer playing in the IBL in Canada. "I am certainly excited to get back to Worcester " Harker told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "I want to get back to work as a player and to learn coach Evans' system and style of play." He added: "The IBL was a great chance for me to get back into strictly playing mode after three seasons as a BBL player-coach. "I really feel we have the Wolves pointed in the right direction. It is a real exciting time for the club and I am grateful to be part of it." | Skouson had an impressive season in the IBL. Coach Evans says he cannot wait for the league season to get underway and sees Harker as one of his main players. "Skouson had an impressive season in the IBL. He was able to focus on being a player again," said Evans. "He has been working hard this summer in preparation for the season. I think the combination of our three non-EU players will give us a dynamic trio." The IBL is an American-based minor league in which semi-pro teams from the United States, Canada, China and Japan compete.
