Raiders Gaylon Moore scored 16 points in the defeat by Leicester

Gary Stronach's Plymouth Raiders missed out on securing their place in the top four of the BBL Championship after suffering an away defeat on Saturday.

After what was a fairly even game, it was Raiders who threw it away in the final moments of the fourth quarter.

Riders and Raiders were tied on 62-62 when Leicester's Duane James more or less single-handedly secure the win with a 14-point blitz.

Raiders now need to beat Guildford Heat away on Wednesday.

They then have three home games against the Cheshire Jets, the return leg with the Riders, and Milton Keynes Lions.
