Torquay United manager Paul Buckle has said he was delighted with his side's performance at Burton.

Danny Stevens' first goal since November secured the victory for the second-placed Gulls against the Blue Square Premier leaders.

Buckle told BBC Radio Devon: "It's exactly what we needed at a critical point of the season.

"I think the players knew that - you could see that in their energy and willingness to chase the ball down."

The Gulls win at the Pirelli Stadium has moved them to within eight points of the top spot, with a game in hand.
