Everton Tigers closed the gap at the top of the British Basketball League to just four points with a 92-71 win over the Plymouth Raiders on Friday. Everton opened up an early 13-2 lead, but it was the Raiders who finished the period stronger to trail by two points. The Raiders went in front in the second quarter but 10 points from Josh Gross opened up a 61-45 lead for Everton. Andre Smith scored 29 points for the Tigers, while Plymouth's James Noel and Gerald Robinson both scored 15 points.
