Everton Tigers attempt to bounce back from their surprise 91-83 defeat to the MK Lions last week when they host the Sheffield Sharks on Friday.

The Blues have beaten the Sharks twice in the league this season, the latest was a 89-80 victory in December.

"After last weeks loss we want to bounce back," Tigers assistant coach Henry Mooney told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"But the Sharks gave us a tough run last time out. They're going to be tough as they have some good players."

Everton then have to prepare themselves for a trip to mid-table side the Guilford Heat on Sunday.

We're just looking forward to getting back to winning ways at the weekend

They travel in the knowledge that the Heat have won seven out of their last eight fixtures, but Mooney hopes his side can play to their potential and have a weekend double.

"I'm sure we can win both games if we bring our 'A' game," Mooney continued.

"Guilford are the only team we haven't played against. I know James Jones is looking forward to going back there to his old club and Tony Dorsey will be the same.

"We're just looking forward to getting back to winning ways at the weekend."

The Tigers second game of the weekend at the Guilford Heat is played at the Guildford Spectrum, tip-off is at 1500 GMT.
