Garbelotto collected his first trophy at the first attempt
Everton Tigers coach Tony Garbelotto was full of praise for his side after Sunday's 103-49 BBL Cup final victory over Plymouth Raiders.
Speaking to BBC Radio Merseyside after the game, the Tigers coach could not hide his delight.
"I'm obviously ecstatic we won. It's fantastic for the city of Liverpool and for our club Everton," he said.
"I think we jumped on them right from the start and I don't think they ever had something to recover from."
Everton were on top in the game from start to finish as their pressure never relented and the coach was delighted with some of the sides individual performances.
"Chris Haslam was like a giant today and nothing went passed him. I thought Marcus Bailey was simply sensational," he added.
"We played really well but I think we can play better. We're going to have tough games to play but we played well when it really mattered.
"I think we did a great job. That win is for everyone in our organisation," Garbelotto added.
