Everton Tigers assistant coach Henry Mooney says reaching the semi-finals of the BBL Cup is the greatest achievement in the club's short history. The Tigers beat the MK Lions 97-75 last week to secure their last-four place. "We've beaten two really good teams to reach the semi-finals," Mooney told BBC Radio Merseyside. "We beat the Scottish Rocks and we've beaten last year's winners MK Lions. The two games in the semis with Newcastle Eagles will be fantastic." The Tigers have this weekend free as they prepare for the visit of Worthing Thunder on Friday, 14 November, but they are already anticipating the cup semi-finals. "We're really looking forward to it as players and coaches," said Mooney. "Newcastle are one of the best teams in the country, if not the best, over the last two or three seasons. "It will be a good meter to see what level we are at."
