Worcester Wolves produced the shock result of the BBL season so far after winning 106-101 at Everton Tigers.

The Tigers topped the table going into the game while the Wolves had lost all three of their opening league matches.

Going into the final quarter Worcester were trailing by six points but then scored 13 unanswered points to take a decisive lead.

Anthony Paez top-scored for the Wolves with 31 points, while Lithuanian shooter Vidmantas Uzkuraitis added 21.

Worcester will look to build on the result on Saturday, when they will host Newcastle Eagles at the University of Worcester, tip-off is at 1900 BST.

The Eagles, who could have gone top of the BBL, failed to take advantage of Everton's defeat by the Wolves but went down 86-81 at home to the improving Sheffield Sharks.
