Gall will start his fifth season at the Pavilions |
Plymouth Raiders guard Allister Gall has signed a new contract to keep him in Devon for the 2008-09 BBL Championship campaign. The 6'3" 28-year-old played a big role as the raiders' sixth man last season as they made the play-off semi finals. "He's really important to us. He's a great outside shooter but more than that, a real competitor," said head coach Gary Stronach. Gall is the sixth player to sign up for the forthcoming campaign. But the club are still no closer to agreeing terms with American duo Gaylon Moore and Drew Lasker who are reported to be mulling over offers to play in Europe. Gall will play his fifth straight season at the Pavilions and Stronach says he is a major asset. "I know he'll do anything that I ask of him, and he'll do it with 100% commitment. "He's probably one of the fittest players on the team already and I know he's looking forward to the new season coming around."
