Shropshire Revolution chase home win against Sheffield
Reid became head coach in January at the age of 29
Shropshire Revolution coach Dave Reid has pinpointed good home form as the side's platform for improvement.
The team has lost twice away in the British American Football League Central Division this year, but next up are bottom side Sheffield Predators.
"We've had some impressive individual performances, but mistakes have cost us," Reid told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"I know my players want to really put up a good show at our home ground against Sheffield on Sunday."
Revolution's last outing saw them put up a good performance before losing 36-20 at section leaders Manchester Titans.
The club has really pulled out all the stops to create a fun and friendly atmosphere for all the family
Club spokesman Mike Dalton
"Despite the scoreline the teams were very evenly matched," Reid added.
"Ultimately what lost us the game was the mistakes we made - we were punished badly for the interceptions we threw and, with the teams so close, it was the errors that made the difference."
Reid singled out Russ Lingwood, rediscovering the form that made him Revolution's Rookie of Year last season, and veteran Steve Ward for their contributions.
Sunday's game with Sheffield is at the Oakengates Athletics Stadium in Telford (1430 BST).
Admission is free, with the club putting on a number of sideshows.
Club spokesman Mike Dalton said: "One of the reasons we moved to Oakengates was the improved game-day experience we could provide supporters. The club has really pulled out all the stops to create a fun and friendly atmosphere for all the family."
