Sharks running back Reggie Jackson failed to find the end zone on Sunday
Cornish Sharks' hopes of making the British American Football League Division Two play-offs semi-finals are over after a heavy defeat in London.
The Sharks failed to score a touchdown as they lost 42-3 to the London Cobras.
The unbeaten Cobras are hotly tipped to win the play-offs and go up to BAFL Division One as they have a number of ex-NFL Europe players in their squad.
Despite the defeat the Sharks still made club history as it was their best play-off placing.
The club, which has only finished its second season of football, made the first round of the play-offs last year and coach Brian Smallworth is hoping to continue to build on that success in 2009.
