Jackson scored six touchdowns in the Sharks rout of Milton Keynes
The Cornish Sharks recorded the highest score in their history as they beat the Milton Keynes Pathfinders 61-0 in the British American Football League.
The Sharks came out strong despite a seven-hour coach journey to Milton Keynes, who are winless and sit bottom of the BAFL's Eastern Conference.
Running back Reggie Jackson got the first touchdown after just three minutes as he led the side on the day.
He managed a total of six touchdowns, including five in the first half.
Adam Kevern got two scores, one in either half, while Kiel Purell kicked six field goals for the Cornish side.
Our wins this year clearly prove to any doubters that our wins last year were not just a fluke
Sharks' Head Coach Brian Smallworth
Andrew Dixon also ran in a touchdown as the Sharks destroyed their hosts.
"I am extremely proud of all the Cornish Sharks players who have again this year, with a team of around 50% rookies, gone out and played a very high standard of football," said head coach Brian Smallworth.
"The Killer Sharks are indeed a team to be reckoned with, and our wins this year clearly prove to any doubters that our wins last year were not just a fluke."
The Sharks are second in the South West Conference of the second division of the British American Football league, and are two wins behind the leaders the South Wales Warriors.
The Sharks' final league game of the season, which will decide if they make the playoffs, is away to local rivals Plymouth Admirals on Sunday 10 August at Parkways Sports Club.
