Penzance Ladies midfielder Amber Grose has won a place at one of the country's top women's football academies.
She will attend Filton College which is closely linked with Premier League side Bristol Academy and has produced several England youth internationals.
Grose will now go pre-season training for six weeks to see if she can win a place at the Academy's first team.
"Its a big breakthrough for me, not many get the chance, especially living down here in Cornwall," she said.
"It means that I have the chance to make it to the highest level of football.
"I've been playing from the age of seven and always wanted to play in the Premier League," she said.
Grose will train five times a week if she is picked for the full academy side and will continue her studies for a national diploma in sports coaching, fitness and development.
