Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock says he is frustrated at not being able to attract new players to Home Park.
Only two new signings have been made in the closed season, Karl Duguid from Colchester and Barnet's Jason Puncheon.
"We keep battering our heads against a brick wall as far as players are concerned," Sturrock told Plymouth Argyle's website.
But he said he would wait for the right players to come along, rather than bring in new faces for the sake of it.
Plymouth are set to play their latest pre-season friendly against Yeovil Town at Huish Park on Tuesday evening.
