Plymouth Raiders boosted their hopes of a top-four finish in the British Basketball League with a 84-82 win away at Guildford Heat on Wednesday. Plymouth trailed 82-81 with 25 seconds remaining, but a foul on DeAntoine Beasley gave them three free throws. Beasley converted all three to seal the victory for the visitors. Drew Lasker top-scored for the Raiders with 19 points, while Gaylon Moore and Allister Gall also scored 13 and 11 points respectively. The win takes Plymouth level on 36 points with Guildford in the BBL table, but they are a place behind in fifth because they have lost one game more. Raiders now face the Cheshire Jets on Sunday, third-placed Leicester Riders on Monday and Milton Keynes Lions on Saturday, 18 April.
