Riders set for home play-off date

Leicester Riders look set for a home play-off spot after a wonderful weekend double over fellow play-off hopefuls Plymouth Raiders and Scottish Rocks.

Riders saw off the Raiders 78-67 at the John Sandford Sports Centre on Saturday night and followed that up with a 88-75 away win over Scottish Rocks on Sunday.

Finishing fourth or higher guarantees a home play-off date and Riders are third in the BBL table with three games left.

Rob Paternostro's side are now four points ahead of fifth-placed Plymouth.

Riders are already certain to finish at least fifth - which will be only the third time in BBL history that they have ended a campaign in the top five.
