Jersey will have to travel to Manchester in the last eight |
Jersey Hockey Club have been drawn away to Manchester-based side Didsbury Northern in the quarter-finals of the National Trophy. The island side's opponents are lying third in the North Hockey Men's League Division Two (West). Jersey booked their place in the last eight after a 3-2 golden-goal win over Bexleyheath and Belvedere at Les Quennevais on Sunday. The game is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 8 March. The island side avoided drawing their big rivals Guernsey. The Sarnians have been drawn at home against Worthing, but may have to play in the UK if the Sussex side decide they do not want to travel to the Channel Islands.
