There has been no racing so far because of bad weather in Guernsey |
The organisers of the World Offshore Two Litre Powerboat Championships in Guernsey have said they are hopeful of racing on Saturday. Thursday's opening event was postponed because of bad weather while no racing has been scheduled for Friday. "We're going to attempt to race on Saturday morning," safety officer Clive Maides told BBC Guernsey. "If we have to abort Saturday's race the drivers have agreed they will face two races on Sunday." If Sunday becomes the only day then there would be an early morning race and one closer to lunchtime. Saturday's race is due to begin at 1020 BST.
