Josh Band claimed his second four-star title when he won the Under-18 Banded event at the Essex Junior Table Tennis competition on Saturday.

The Jersey 14-year-old cruised his way to the last round with straight set victories over all his opponents.

But the final against TTK Greenhouse player TJ Jaiyeola went the distance, with Band winning after five sets - 11-7 7-11 11-5 12-14 12-10.

Left-hander Band won the Under-15 class at the Derby Four-Star in March.
