All of Great Britain's Beijing-bound team competed at the championships and Black he admitted to a few nerves.

"It was good experience to be up against all the Olympic athletes. I thought it was a good first swim and it shows where I am," he told BBC Radio

Jersey.

Black still has swims in the 200m and 400m Individual Medley as well as the 100m Breaststroke.

Jersey's other swimming at the championships is Jersey Swimming Club and current Bath University swimmer, Katie Speller.

She came sixteenth in the 200m Individual Medley last night in a time of 2:26.22.
