Teenager Emma Glendening won the open water swim |
Teenager Emma Glendening has won the inaugural St Aubin's open water swim. The 14-year-old AIB Tigers swimmer was the first of the 79 entries to finish the race and claimed some big scalps along the way. In an extremely close finish to the race she beat Commonwealth Games swimmer and current triathlete Daniel Halksworth by 12 seconds. The course of just over 2,000m proved a test of endurance, with rough sea conditions hampering the swimmers. Race organiser Neil Faudermer was pleased with the turn out for the event. | ST AUBIN'S SWIM RESULTS
