 KPMG signs four-year deal with JASA |
Jersey Swimming have found a major new sponsor to secure the sport's future in the island for the next four years. Accountancy firm KPMG has signed up as swimming's major sponsor, it was announced at Jersey's Island Championships over the weekend. Chairman of KPMG Jersey Larry Catterson said he was pleased to sponsor the Jersey Amateur Swimming Association. "As we live in an island, swimming is obviously very important, not only for sport but for survival." Fast swimming was the name of the game at the Jersey's Island Championships over the weekend. The highlights were two new race records to Ian Black in the 200m Individual Medley and the 100m Breaststroke and four national qualifying swims to three A.I.B. Tigers Swimming Club athletes, Emma Glendening and brothers JJ and Tom Gallichan.
