TT winners to challenge Irish stars
Adrian Archibald recorded another treble at the Tandragee 100
Adrian Archibald won three races at Tandragee
Isle of Man TT winners Ian Lougher and Richard Quayle will renew their rivalry with the best of the Irish riders at the Dundrod 150 races on Saturday.

The visiting duo will be challenged by Adrian Archibald, Richard Britton and Ryan Farquhar who have all tasted success in the Irish national road races this season.

Archibald had a hugely disappointing TT and will hope that a return to home soil will also bring a change of luck following a series of mechanical failures.

He will compete in both Open races and the Regal 600cc event.

Britton and Farquhar will race in the same events, having enjoyed relatively successful TT periods.

Robert Dunlop will be hoping to win the 125 event

Others who could be in contention include James Courtney, Brian Gardiner, Gary Jess and Alex Donaldson.

The 125cc race should be a keenly contested affair with Lougher coming up against Ballymoney's Robert Dunlop and Darran Lindsay from Lisburn.

The six-race programme will be held over a circuit which has undergone safety improvements in recent months.

The dreaded chicane at Dawson's Bend has been removed and a number of telegraph poles have also been taken away as part of a five-year improvement plan.

The race order on Saturday reads - Support Race, Open race, 125cc race, Regal 600cc, Classic and finally the IFS Open Race.

Roads close at 10.00am with the first race due off at 11.00am.
