Swindon Robins were beaten by Poole for their second home defeat in a row. Simon Stead and Leigh Adams top scored for the Robins, with paid-14 hauls, but Morten Risager (1) and Mads Korneliussen (3) disappointed. Swindon team manager Ronnie Russell told BBC Wiltshire: "It's obvious that two particular riders didn't contribute what I expect from them." Russell had previously threatened to sack some his riders if they did not start performing on the track. He said: "Mads has been to me and says he's definitely found his problem (with his bike), but do you accept that he has found it? "Do you give him another chance?" "I always say that these riders are like my kids and I will always give them another chance, but there is a limit, and unfortunately, we are very near to the limit now."
