Swindon Robins manager Ronnie Russell has warned that he could sack some of his riders if they do not pick up their form after a poor start to the season. The Robins face Elite League leaders Poole on Thursday at the Abbey Stadium. Russell told BBC Wiltshire: "I treat the riders like my kids. If your kids aren't very good you don't throw them away and get some new ones." But he added: "Everybody expects more. They've been told in no uncertain terms that jobs could be on the line." Russell thinks that it is not the ideal time to face the league leaders. He said: "It couldn't be worse, could it? I suppose from a more philosophical point of view, you could say at least we'll get that one out the way. "I am looking for our boys to be at the races this week. They need to show that they want to be part of Swindon." The Robins' riding order has been altered ahead of the meeting with Poole. Morten Risager will partner Leigh Adams by moving to two. Mads Korneliussen slots in at number three and is joined in the middle order by Grzgegorz Zengota who rides at four. Simon Stead moves to the number five berth and will partner Leigh Adams in heat 13.
