Lee Complin was Stoke's top points scorer against his former club Sheffield

Stoke Potters were beaten 54-39 by the Sheffield Tigers in their Premier League meeting on Thursday.

Lee Complin (12+1) and Jason Bunyan (12) top scored for the Potters, while Tom P Madsen failed to register a single point because of engine trouble.

Promoter Dave Tattum said: "I'm disappointed not to have come away with a point but we had a little bad luck with some of our bikes."

Stoke take on Redcar in their next Premier League meeting on Saturday.
