Stoke Potters lost to Rye House for the second time in three days, denting their hopes of getting through to the final stages of the Premier Trophy. The Potters were beaten 47-46 at home on Saturday, and then were hammered 63-30 at Hoddesdon on Monday. "It was a dismal display and we cannot allow displays like this to happen," said promoter Dave Tattum. "We really do have to take a good look at ourselves because score lines like today are not acceptable." The result leaves the Potters second-bottom in their group after five matches. "I'm totally deflated with the score line today," said team manager John Woolridge. Meanwhile Stoke's meeting with Birmingham, that was scheduled for Good Friday but postponed because of the weather, has been rearranged for Wednesday, 13 May.
