Klaus Jakobsen top scored for Stoke with 12 points against Somerset

Stoke Potters continued their impressive start to the season with a comfortable 55-40 victory against Somerset at Loomer Road on Saturday.

The Potters took charge of the tie early on, taking an 18-6 lead after four heats.

Young Danish rider Klaus Jakobsen scored 12 of Stoke's points.

Stoke have now won two of their opening three matches in the Premier Trophy, with their only defeat coming against group leaders Scunthorpe.
