Stoke Potters bounced back from their opening defeat against Scunthorpe in the Premier Trophy to beat King's Lynn 48-42 at Loomer Road on Saturday. Newcomer Phil Morris took four race victories on the night to secure the Potters' first win in their group. "They had come back at us well, but our lads dug in and got their noses back in front. It was pleasing to see," said Potters manager John Woolridge. On Friday they were outclassed by Scunthorpe, losing 57-36. Stoke's next fixture is on Saturday, 4 April against Somerset at Loomer Road. Birmingham, Rye House and Newport make up the rest of their six-team group in the Premier Trophy.
