Wolves hoping to keep score down

Freddie Lindgren
Freddie Lindgren will be missing for Wolves again at Eastbourne

Wolves will be on a damage limitation exercise when they visit Eastbourne on Saturday night (1930 BST).

The men from Monmore are still without skipper Freddie Lindgren, injured in last weekend's Danish Grand Prix.

They must operate the rider replacement facility for this Knockout Cup first leg, with every other team member eligible to take his programmed rides.

And the main intention is simply to keep the score as close as possible ahead of Monday's return at Monmore.

Manager Peter Adams said: "We know what a tough side they are on their own track.

"Hopefully we can go there, give a good account of ourselves and stay in contention for the second leg on Monday."

EASTBOURNE: Scott Nicholls, Lewis Bridger, Lee Richardson, Cameron Woodward, E! dward Kennett, Simon Gustafsson, James Brundle.

WOLVES: Freddie Lindgren R/R, Ales Dryml, Niels Kristian Iversen, Nikolai Kloindt, David Howe, Christian Hefenbrock, Kenneth Hansen.
