Belle Vue Aces have accepted they will be without Australian rider Jason Crump for the Knockout Cup second leg at Coventry Bees. Crump is available for the first leg on Monday but has a long-standing booking in Poland 11 days later when Ipswich's Piotr Swiderski stands in. Aces chief David Gordon said: "There are many top riders away so we settled on Swiderski. "He is in great form and the big Coventry track will suit him." Gordon added: "It's very rare that Poland run on a Friday but we have to accept that it is a prior commitment for Jason."
