Leigh Adams led the way for the Robins with paid 12 points |
Swindon boss Alun Rossiter was unhappy with some contentious refereeing decisions in the Robins' 47-43 defeat at Belle Vue Aces on Monday. The Robins were in contention until the last heat, but could not pick up enough race wins to claim an away victory. Rossiter told BBC Radio Swindon that decisions involving Troy Batchelor and Mads Korneliussen cost his team dear. "It was just one of those nights. We had decisions go against us although I'm not making any excuses," he said. "In one race Troy (Batchelor) felt that Charlie (Gjedde) knocked him off and in another we were on a 4-2 heat advantage, Mads (Korneliussen) came down and instead of being given as a 3-all, they were awarded the 4-2. "They were in critical situations. But we just didn't get enough wins really." Swindon remain top of the Elite League after Monday's meeting, but are now only one point ahead of second-placed Eastbourne.
