Leigh Adams put in a strong performance at Wimborne Road

Swindon Robins suffered their second away defeat in the space of two days but are still top of the Elite League despite Monday's 53-39 loss at Poole.

Leigh Adams was the Robins' top scorer with 15, while Mads Korneliussen and Seb Alden racked up a paid eight.

Swindon are struggling to live up to their early season form.

But manager Alun Rossiter said: "The expectation is so high because we've raised the bar. We just didn't perform tonight to what we know we can do."

The Robins lost 46-44 at Eastbourne on Saturday.
