Australian rider Cory Gathercole is pleased to get his chance for Swindon, in place of the injured Theo Pijper.

The 21-year-old number eight told BBC Radio Swindon: "To ride for Swindon, it's what I want to do and where I want to be, so to get the chance is good.

"To ride in front of people who support me is really good.

"Obviously it's unfortunate for Theo, early in the season it's not really ideal. But hopefully I can do a good job for Swindon."
